Carly is a young 22 year old artist and a political activist now working for Human Rights Campaign in New York City.

'You Don't Know You're Beautiful' explores the emotional psyche of a young lesbian. Following an autobiographical narrative the film challenges and critiques our perception of how we see others and who we really are.

The New York City Domestic Violence Hotline receives an average of 1,400 calls every month and since 1997 there has been a 68% increase of dating violence in the city.

Three women recount the abuse they suffered during teenage relationships.
